Application of Group Dynamics
APPLICATION OF THE DIN? MICAS GROUP
The Dynamics for Groups can be used for various purposes some of the most common applications are as follows:
- Encourage the theoretical learning of the more important of an issue. - To observe in detail the concepts learned during the lecture phase. - Control of learning efficiency through its demonstration in a real situation. -Awareness of the problems and making them accessible both rational and emotional. - Participants to transfer and translate the concepts learned in the theory session to real situations. - Resolve conflicts with a more favorable climate for settlement. - Apply to overcome the deadlock of a group. - Analysis of problems. - To show behavior patterns.
The characteristics of the group, as group dynamics, are:
- An association of two or more people. - Members are considered as a group have a "collective sense of unity", a conscious identification with each other. - There is a shared purpose. Members have the same goal.
- There is a sense of mutual dependency in the satisfaction of needs. Members need to help each other to achieve the purposes for which compliance is met in the group. - Members can communicate with each other.
The principles of group development are:
- In meetings Enabling Environment: This refers to the physical space that should accommodate the number of members and how to work the same. They must feel comfortable. - Reduction of bullying: should aim to achieve good interpersonal relationships, reduce tensions. - Distributed leadership: Encourage all members bring into play their skills and abilities to facilitate the group process and the achievement of the target. - Formulation of suitable target the interests of the group: The objective should be chosen by common agreement among all members, should never be imposed. It must adapt to the age, potential and possibilities of the members in order to avoid the frustration of members for failure to inappropriate goals. - Flexibility: The group should not be rigid, must adapt to changes in both external and internal circumstances. - The consensus in decision-making: All decisions must take from this group. The base is full participation in a democratic environment. - Understanding the process to guide or modify objectives: Participants should be aware of how it is given interaction, communication and productivity, for the purposes of structuring and restructuring situations that favor the group process.
- Continuous evaluation: The group should discuss the process and how they are achieving their aims, through continuing evaluation.
It is important in the whole dynamic:
- Meet the group and its characteristics. - Learn the differences between individual and group work. - Analyze the stages through which the group evolves. - Know the characteristics of the groups - Knowing the structure of the group. - Analyze the role of guide-mediator in the group. - Know the different group techniques. - Know how to select and apply a technique group.
