The Hermit In The Tarot Cards
It is well known that the tarot cards tell us about many topics, especially those related to the human soul. And one of the secrets that most directly relate to such issues is the Hermit, the letter related to the ultimate nature of existence and purpose of life. We all come to a time when the daily evolution we stop to think about these important topics. Maybe it's events that have taken place, and we have affected in any particular form, or simply by the passage of the years, but in one way or another, we all wonder why we are in this world.
There is no doubt about the answer to such questions only find within ourselves, after a long period of reflection and inner conversations. The illustration on this card speaks specifically to this situation. It may be a man in complete solitude, standing in the snow, with a background devoid of any kind of illustration. It highlights the lamp and the stick, as the only elements that will help you find the answer to your questions.
The Hermit tells us that it is time to withdraw from the world, to face alone a search for which, finally, we are prepared. Eastern philosophy says that man only asks questions when he knows the answer, ie when it has reached the maturity to know the truth. And this is the case of the Hermit. It is therefore necessary, remove turmoil abroad and anything that might disturb us, as the inner voice starts as a whisper only imperceptibly, until it was a stark cry. The light was revealed when the Hermit is ready.
Once you have learned the lessons and achieved true wisdom, the Hermit takes his lamp, and returns to the real world, with the sacred mission of becoming a teacher and help others see their own potential. But the Hermit knows that in these matters, the teacher is mostly useless, as is the very experience that will give the right answers for each case. Tarot cards are well aware, each must find their own light, and the Hermit can only warn that the road ahead is difficult, because the enemies are harder to overcome their own inner fears.
