Less Influential Women
I mean, to my disappointment, there is less influential women in the Valencian Community which would have, as seen from the list prepared by THE WORLD.
Which at this point is still searching what females, how many there are and what their importance in society exceptional evidence of a phenomenon that today should be as natural as life itself.
My second frustration is due to the lightweight women in the economic and business world. Only Agnes Noguera, Rosa Lladró and painful love among the top 25 list. The reason for this probably lies in a "civil society by the flash off political and media", as explained Xavier Borrás, author of the report in the newspaper.
I fear, however, that the weakness of civil society does not distinguish between the sexes because, unfortunately, influential relationship Valencia in Spanish society is also diminished and, even worse, declining day by day.
Other payments, the active presence of women in economic life as usual. In the latest ranking by Forbes magazine among the eight world's most influential females are three entrepreneurs: the presidents of Kraft, Pepsico and West pac.
Also in neighboring France sent women not only in politics, Ségolène Royal and Martine Aubry are vying for primacy in the Socialist Party while Marine Le Pen has just taken over the reins of the extreme right, but has always been a long tradition of entrepreneurship, from Coco Chanel to Anne Lauvergeon, through the scandalous L'Oreal owns, Lilianne Bettencourt.
Here, in my modest point of view, only shining its own light shine with Rita Barbera, Leire Pajin and Paula Sánchez de León, comparable with any width illustrious contemporary world. Valencian other professional merits are undeniable legal Pilar de la Oliva, Carmen Teresa Gisbert and Llombart. After showing my admiration for all of them and the rest of the list published on Sunday, I can not resist to make two final thoughts.
One is the transience of many names of such rankings. While the list of influential men is more or less stable in a merit function that are independent from political influence, however this list of women is very different from what would have been done five years ago and differ even within five .
This brings me to the second and more painful consideration: the continuity in the position of people with important positions, as Nuria Romeral, Ana Botella or Miraculous Martinez, for example, relies on third parties, look where they are always men, in this case Francisco Camps and Jorge Alart.
I agree, finally, the thoughtful reflections on the status of women in these pages made by two women for my model, as Alicia de Miguel and Carmen Alborch. Just wanted to add on my part three notes: 1) we'd all better with more women leading the way, 2) civil society Valencia still leaves much to be desired, and 3) hopefully soon no longer lists because we live in a world more just and egalitarian.
