The most common types of online advertising


There are different types of online advertising available today on the Internet. What kind of advertising is the best? What is the best fit, and increase revenue for my company? I'll try to describe three popular types of advertising in the rest of this article.

Pay Per Click (PPC for short) advertising works on a basis of the advertiser pays a certain amount for every click that users are clicking. This is an advertising model used on most search engines (eg Google.com, Yahoo.com, MSN.com), web content and / or blog. The type of PPC advertising is good for companies with a budget, and the need to control this budget.

Pay Per Action (PPA or short) advertising works on a basis of the advertiser pays only when the action was performed. The action can be a form to be completed by joining a membership, or a real transaction being completed. The action will be determined by the advertiser. It is an advertising model most frequently used on sites which provides a platform for the sale of real products (eg, eBay.com, Clickbank.com, Commissionjunction.com).

Pay For Inclusion (PFI or short) advertising works on a basis of the advertiser pays for their product or service included in the advertising platform. This is an advertising model used most often on sites that provide free online classified ads (eg ads Ablewise.com) or the list of directories (eg Yahoo directory listings) .......
