Decorating Ideas for Tables

The decor is the perfect addition to finish off an elegant table setting. However, do not forget that an elegant table is a table recharged. It should be noted that an ornament should never be a hindrance. The golden rule in decorating ideas for tables should not create barriers to the decor. It is important not to isolate guests with decorations too bulky.

Candles and candlesticks

The candlesticks and centerpieces are often the most used elements in the ideas to decorate tables. The candles of the chandeliers should preferably be white or ivory, but on occasions like Christmas can opt for red candles. Candles should only be at dinner, and if ignited, it is after the guests have been seated at the table. In addition, the wax must be odorless. In most cases, candles and candle holders are used as mere decoration and not usually on.

Floristry

If you choose to use centers of flowers, whether natural or dried, should be flowers without perfume, as they may interfere with the aroma of food and drink. The flower arrangements should also cover the guests, so it is best to choose designs too low to allow guests to see each other face. They are placed far between, consider leaving room for the trays, saucers and other items that need to be placed on the table. Rectangular tables give more play to decorate the round, supporting a floral centerpiece nothing more.

Other decorative elements

Also, another idea to decorate tables may be eligible for other decorative elements depending on the type of food and site. Centers fruit, or original details such as a hollow tree trunk and painted, small flower petals centers (of course not perfumed), bowls of colored marbles, etc.. The key is to be original, but with taste and style.

And of course, do not forget to combine all the decorative elements to include in the table with other items: linens, dishes, glassware and cutlery.
